After the long winter, spring offers time to pause and feel renewed. Join Kate and Jo, co-founders of The Ayurveda Academy, at this Ayurveda spring retreat to explore how to put the ‘spring’ back in your step and get ready for the rejuvenating months ahead. It’s also the best time to cleanse with bitter, astringent and pungent wild plants which emerge after the spring equinox.
This Ayurveda spring retreat is for you if:
- You are looking for a reset and gentle pause as the seasons change
- You’re interested in the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and want to explore your unique constitution to optimise your diet, lifestyle, exercise and herbal remedies for spring
- You want to invest in yourself, your health and learn more about self-care
- You want to explore self-awareness, how you manage your emotions, and how to let go of patterns that are no longer serving you
- You’re interested in having an Ayurvedic health consultation and authentic treatments in a beautiful clinic setting.
What to Expect
- Two nights’ accommodation in a family home in Somerset in the beautiful village of Batcombe (in between Frome and Bruton). Option of twin ensuite, shared king size room or single rooms with shared bathroom.
- Light but nourishing and delicious food to give your digestion a break, prepared according to Ayurvedic spring protocol, from Friday supper to Sunday lunch.
- Ancient Wisdom workshop exploring the Ayurvedic seasonal regimen, to support ourselves as we move into spring, covering diet, lifestyle, herbs and home cleansing techniques.
