My name is Sayeeda Alam, 33 from Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset.
Iv been a student of yoga for 7 years now, and I’ve been teaching for 4 of those. I teach Hatha, Ashtanga, Nidra and I specialise in yoga for addiction, stress & anxiety.
A diagnosis of endometriosis in 2016 sparked my journey to transform my life with yoga and diet, and I have come a long way with managing my symptoms, I rarely have any pain now, yet chronic fatigue syndrome still plagues me. It has been especially severe these past two years, and I have struggled to get any help with this from my doctors and the traditional routes that a re available to us here in the UK.
I was aware of Ayurveda and its benefits very early on in my yoga journey, but had not yet found an opportunity to learn more about it in a structured way, so I am here to take my health and healing into my own hands and find out as much as possible to hopefully ease my symptoms. I am also interested to incorporate Ayurveda into my offerings for my students.
Very excited to be here.
I look forward to seeing you all on the webinar.
